Need a quick guide to these words?
- School workspace
- Your school’s shared area. Switching schools changes the papers and colleagues you can see.
- Department
- A teaching team, such as Science or Primary school. The principal creates it, then assigns colleagues to it.
- Draft
- A paper that the author is still preparing. Save your changes before asking for a review.
- Submitted / waiting for review
- The author has asked another person to check the paper. Editing pauses until the reviewer requests changes or approves it.
- Changes requested
- The reviewer has explained what needs improving. The author edits, saves a new version and submits again.
- Approved copy
- A specific version checked by someone other than its author. Colleagues in the department can read and reuse it. Approval does not guarantee every fact is correct.
- Version
- A saved snapshot. Editing an approved paper creates a new draft while keeping the approved copy.
